Writers

A Writer is the one that has to make up all the ideas to go into the story, nothing would happen without the writer because they are the one that has to come up with the ideas to the story. The writer will always be on set, because sometimes there could be something that want to change, they're kind of a writer and editor all in one. The things that they write have to make sense because the writers like to readers to picture in there head the events that they're reading and make a little movie in their minds. if it doesn't make sense then its not written properly. A writer is a person who uses written words in various styles and techniques to communicate ideas. Writers can write things in a fictional or non-fictional way it doesn't matter as long as it makes sense. No education is required to become a professional screenwriter, just good storytelling abilities and imagination. All writers need to start off with a rough idea as to want they want to have, then that idea gets expanded by talking to directors and actors to make movies.

 The role of the writer

There were a few changes in that had to be made in the book for it to work on screen such as making larger roles for the female characters in the film. For an example; Arwen's role in the book is only a short poem. However, in the film she has one of the major roles. Back in the days of The Lord of the Rings being written, the  writer; J. R. R. Tolkien, was a male and back in those days things were very sexist so the women roles weren't big.
